Our Scoring Criteria — 5 Dimensions
Every supplement is scored out of 10 based on five equally weighted criteria:
| Criterion | What We Assess | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Ingredient Quality | Evidence grade per ingredient (Strong/Moderate/Limited); whether clinically studied forms are used | 30% |
| Dose Transparency | Are amounts disclosed? Do they match published clinical trial doses? | 25% |
| Safety Profile | Known drug interactions, contraindications, safety warnings — disclosed honestly | 20% |
| Guarantee & Value | Refund policy terms, price per day, package value vs. performance promise | 15% |
| User Validation | Customer review patterns — do reported results align with the evidence timeline? | 10% |
Evidence Grading System
We apply three evidence grades to each ingredient:
- Strong — Multiple published RCTs or Cochrane systematic review confirming the benefit at the dose present
- Moderate — Published human research supports the mechanism with limitations
- Limited — Animal-model or preliminary human evidence only
Safety Disclosure Policy
We disclose all known safety concerns regardless of whether the manufacturer does. This includes drug interactions, contraindications for specific populations, dose-related risks, and regulatory warnings. We apply mandatory disclosures for specific ingredient classes regardless of the review's overall tone.
Conflict of Interest Management
MediPrime.fit earns affiliate commissions on purchases made through our links. To prevent this from influencing editorial output:
- Editorial scores are set before checking commission rates
- Products are never scored higher because they pay higher commissions
- No manufacturer pays for review placement or guarantees a positive review
- Corrections to factual errors are made promptly when notified
